Isabel Betsill is a contemporary acrylic painter whose work captures girlhood through a queer and nostalgic lens. Through a combination of figurative paintings, self portraits, and still lifes known as “Girly Clutter”, Betsill’s work tells intimate autobiographic stories about self expression, self preservation, and the transition from girlhood to womanhood.

Betsill received a BA in Studio Art from Lewis and Clark College in 2020 and currently lives and works as an artist, educator, and art writer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
